NATIONAL YOUTH DAY CELEBRATION - YAUVANA "THE 7 DAYS YUVA TALENT HUB"

                                                                                                    WE ARE THE NEXT GEN LEADERS

Objective: The Bharat Scouts and Guides in continuation with its Fit India campaign is now, engaging all the young th people of BS&G digitally by organizing a Virtual National Youth Day celebration on the occasion of 158 Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. 

Purpose: The purpose of organizing this Naonal Youth Week celebration is to offer a platform to the young people, to bring out the energetic pack of wellness activities and fun activities, to refresh the young minds of all the Scouts, Guides, Rovers and Rangers and get the opportunity to expose themselves through the “7 days at the Yauva Talent Hub” acvity pack starting from 5 January to 11 January. Youths will kick start their brand new year with more positivity, enthusiasm and excitement.

“The youth of today is totally unlike anything we have seen before. Not only are they aware of their responsibilies, but they are also extremely gifted and talented. Whatever field one chooses to look at, the youth has created history and the people of the nation are proud to call the youth their children. The youths of today is good at so many things that lately it has become difficult to keep a track of what all they are capable of doing. So to celebrate and recognize all the incredible young people, The Bharat Scouts and Guides has brought an exciting as well as interesting package of acvtivities for the youths to complete and make this National Youth Day, 2021 a remarkable one.

Important instructions:

1. Any 3 (three) activities among the seven in the activity pack are mandatory to complete to receive the participation cerficate. 

2. Pictures and videos of all the activities done should be uploaded on all of your social handle with #BSGNYD2021 #BSGYAUVANA #YAUVACANVAS #BSGINDIA #SCOUTS4SDGS #YOUTHDAY2021 #YOUTH #SWAMIVIVEKANANDA 

3. The deadline to upload the videos and pictures of the day to day acvity in the goggle drive link hps://forms.gle/syZK215RyzUgmgmS8  as well as on the social media sites would be 10 P.M. of the same date. (Daily acvity report is to be uploaded in the given link hps://forms.gle/syZK215RyzUgmgmS8) This link is to be used for all the 07 days to upload the report and videos, picture etc. of daily acvity. 4. The deadline to submit the complete consolidated report of the event acvies under taken by the th parcipants may please be send in email bsgyauvana2021@gmail.com on 13 January, 2021 by 11:59 P.M.

FORMAT OF REPORT OF 7DAYS AT YAUVA TALENT HUB BY EMAIL!

The content in the email should consist of the following,

 Subject: Report of Yauvana 

1. Name of the parcipant 

2. Rank 

3. Name of the District , Name of the State 

4. Attachment: Report to be uploaded in PDF format with brief descriptions of each day activity the participant has taken part with relevant photographs. 

5. Seven (7) best performers would be invited to the live programme of Youth Day Celebration -  Yauvana, on 12 January, 2021. 

6. Participants should upload the activities on various social media platforms using all the hash-tags provided. 

7. We encourage all the Scouts, Guides, and Rangers Rovers to upload the report in www.scout.org as well including service hours 

8. All the participants must put on their scarfs while performing the activity. Scout/Guide Uniform is preferred for visibility of the organization.

DAY 1: 5 JAN : YAUVA CANVAS THEME : “ My Sustainable World ” :

HAND PAINTING    OR     GLASS PAINTING    OR    FACE PAINTING    OR    SAND ART    PAPER ART

 Requirement: Make 2-4 minutes video presentation containing 15 seconds of self introduction and fast forward recording of your creative work. 

This activity is a single person (Individual) activity and not a patrol activity. 

You are allowed to choose only 1 type of canvas acvity from the given options.

Requirement: Make a 2-4 minutes video presentation which should include Self introduction, Name of the fitness activity, Demonstration and benefit of the activity. 

Minimum 1 and maximum 8 people as a patrol can participate in this activity 

Participants are allowed to choose only 1 activity from the given options.

DAY 3: 7 JAN: YAUVA ART OF GREEN

SALAD DECORATION OR VEGETABLE CARVING

Requirement: Make 2-4 minutes video presentation containing 15 seconds of self introduction and fast forward recording of your creative work. 

A group of 3 members or single person parcipaon is permitted.

You are allowed to choose only 1 type of 2 activities from the given options.

Requirement: Make a 2-4 minute video presentaon including your self-introduction

One person participatoon or A patrol of (6-8 members) participation is also encouraged. 

You are allowed to choose only 1 task from the given options

DAY 5 : 9 JAN : YAUVAS IN ACTION :

Theme: Change For SDGS  ( One Action taken towards the implementaon of any of the 17 SDGs )  Requirement: 2-4 minutes of video presentation including self-introduction, name of the SDG chosen and demonstraon of their action. 

One person participation or unit participation in the video is allowed. 

You are allowed to share about the initiative in the form of a video or through pictures.

Theme: My Story of Change/ My success story 

Requirement: A 2-4 minute of video presentaon to be short, including self-introduction of the participant.

This is a single (Individual) person participation acvity. You are asked to strictly maintain the decorum of the program and no negative or hate speech or foul language to be used during the video. 

Copying of any TED-X video from the internet is prohibited, your content of the story should be original.

DAY 7: 11 JAN: YAUVA EXPRESSIONS 

Theme: “This is me!” v

(A message for the Society in the form of slogans and fashion, depicting your visions ) 

Requirement: A dramatic pictorial presentation which includes proper ouits that define you and your message which you want to convey to the society. Participants can also create artificial backgrounds as per their need.
